Ho Ho Ho Easter Bunny?
This morning when I walked down the stairs I was greeted by the sound of Christmas carols blasting from our stereo speakers. "It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas" filled the air and as I looked out the windows, everything was blanketed in white. Yes folks - you knew I had to blog about this one - IT IS SNOWING. Every tree limb, every blade of grass, every nook and cranny - all snow-covered. Mr. Yesteryear Acres said it was a good thing he mowed the grass on Sunday because now we can measure our snowfall with ease. I just shook my head and laughed. Just 2 short days ago, I finally dug out one short sleeved t-shirt and wore it with glee. Today, it is back to big bulky sweaters. When I let the puppies out this morning, they all gave me the look. As if I created the bi-polar weather pattern. Their little paws did not want to go out into the snow. Our Doodle Doggie Blossom gave me the look that said, "this stuff didn't happen when I lived in North Carolina!" No one seemed particularly happy with the return of the winter weather. My poor daffodils are all hanging their heads in sorrow. I think if you look closely, you can see each and every flower cry tears of sadness. They could not look more pathetically sad if they tried. Tonight's forecast - below freezing temperatures. Maybe I dreamed that it was 80* on Sunday. Because today - it sure doesn't feel like Spring! Mr. Yesteryear Acres is singing, "Ho Ho Ho, Easter's on its way". I think the Easter Bunny might want to take a few wardrobe hints from Santa. Looks like a parka is the only way to go!!!!

Same crazy weather up here in Maine! Warm yesterday, snow today, down to 20 degrees tonight. At least our spring flowers were smart enough to stay below ground a little while longer.
