On time

Well we didn't have much luck getting ready for Christmas as early as we would have liked but man - we are on time for putting Christmas away. Our tree is down.  Our ornaments are back in their little boxes and drawers and are now safely stored for next year.  Frosty the snowman is back in his box.  Mr. and Mrs. Claus are back in the attic resting until next Christmas rolls around. They have their reindeer to keep them company as well.  I don't know how we pulled it off but here it is January 2nd and we are officially undecorated.  I am so happy to have that done! I think we are all, except for maybe the cats.  They are definitely not happy that we put away the greatest cat toy ever.  Our Christmas tree was full of what the cats considered to be cat toys.  Ornaments?  I think not! Those are round balls to knock off the tree and roll around all over the house so that every day I got to pick up various ornaments the cats stole from the tree and scattered all over the floor. The doggies just waited for the cats to do the sneaky ornament removal and then it was fair game for all to play.  It was a constant battle but alas, the game is now officially over. Well....at least until Christmas rolls around again!
