For years Mr. Yesteryear Acres has used a long outdoor extension cord to light up the Flag in front of our house. He has moved that extension cord back and forth from the house countless times. Each time he has to move the cord, he thinks about how nice it would be to have a light switch on the flag pole. This week - his wish came true! Austin helped him dig a trench to the house so he could put in permanent electric service to the flag pole.

Everyone loves digging a trench right?!
Hickory provided some much needed comfort and
I provided tractor assistance!
Ta Da!
Trench all filled and grass seed planted!
And a permanent light with electric service.
Now our Grand Old Flag shines day and night!
