On The Way

Mr. Yesteryear Acres and I are on the way to the US Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia because tomorrow our older daughter graduates from TBS!!! It has been a long long very hard tumultuous 6 months for her but she did it!  She made it!  We are so proud of her and can't wait to watch her receive her diploma. This is the single biggest accomplishment of her life.  She said it was much more difficult than her 4 years at the Naval Academy as TBS pushed her to her limits.  She had to dig deep to overcome all the obstacles and I know the sense of pride she feels must be overwhelming. This is all she has ever dreamed of.  This is all she has ever wanted to be. She can now stand tall as she is one of .....The Few, The Proud, The Marines.  Semper Fi. Congratulations 2nd Lieutenant! You are going to be one amazing Command and Control Officer! We are so proud!
